Seaside Home

The buyer of this renovated home was so impressed with its craftsmanship, he contacted the architect to get in touch with it’s contractor, Teleran. After meeting with Tim and Dan, the buyer hired them to start a second home. A key feature to this ocean home is its defense against rough seas. The ocean side of the house has automated metal shades that protect the vast number of windows and glass doors facing the ocean. Escape vents allow flooding water to pass through the concrete crawl space beneath the house. The siding jumps, woven corners and inset windows may go unnoticed to the untrained eye, but shows the fine detail Teleran goes to achieve.
